Rotary Etobicoke 92º President Inauguration
On August 18th, Rotary Etobicoke members celebrated the new President and thanking our previous one.

In the changeover ceremony, Sharon Lee, 2021-2022 president, has received the Rotary baton from the past president, Kester Trim. Sharon is the 92nd president at the Rotary Club of Etobicoke since the Club started in 1930 and the first woman of Chinese descent.

This is the fifth time a woman is commanding the Club. "I acknowledged the 4 women Presidents who proceeded before me, as they paved the way for me to accept the honour of being President of our Club: Lynda Ryder, Diane Irving, Sue Foley and Donna Cansfield", said Sharon Lee.

During the ceremony, the Club´s Secretary Ron Miller received a pin and crystal memento recognizing him as Major Donor to The Rotary Foundation (TRF). "I have been donating to TRF and PolioPlus over quite a few years. I started doing monthly donations with Rotary Direct a few years back. I am very proud to have reached this milestone. The Rotary Foundation is 'our Charity', and helps support all of the good work we do, both at home and abroad", said Ron Miller.

The 2021 ceremony had the presence of the following Past Presidents: Iosif Ciosa, Michael Bell, Ron Miller, Lynda Ryder, Mark Winson, and Diane Irving.
