Rotary Etobicoke sponsors short film festival
Rotary Club of Etobicoke was one of the supporters of the Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival 2021/22. The Festival happened at the Cinespace Gala on April 23th, in Etobicoke, and it was made to support Canadian film production.
The Club has sponsored the late night poutine truck after the event, in cooperation with Lindt, Lumiterra, Illumineer and Sterica. It was a 10 year celebration of this incredible event which takes place in our community.
In attendance supporting Rotary was Iosif and Maggie Ciosa, Helen Harakas, Gerald and Brenda Lue. Gerald Lue was responsible for the donation on the Club's name.
With over 300 people in attendance, the members of the community followed the exhibition of Canadian made short films.
"Rotary helps the Etobicoke lakeshore community for 92 years, and once more, it is our pleasure to support the Lakeshorts Film Festival", said Gerald Lue and Iosif Ciosa.
